Michael Scalera founded his company in NJ in 1979 as a partnership with Al Mele, his friend and mentor. They offered all types of masonry, from basic concrete work to adorned veneers. When the partnership with Mele Construction ended ten years later, Scalera began to focus on specializing his masonry. Now in business for more than 35 years, his company has evolved to be predominantly specialty stonework. He prefers to have no more than one employee at a time to ensure that he is personally responsible for every stone placed. Scalera is dedicated to providing customers with an impeccable finished product.

Michael Scalera is based in Morris County, NJ, and services many towns in northern NJ, including those in surrounding counties.
